Hi Guys,

I need some help rgarding fitness. I start woking on my wight loss
about an year ago. I was 350 Pounds when I started, now I have avail my
target wight which is about 175 pounds. The problem now I am running
into is that I am trying to work on fitness. I have also cut back on
the intensity of workout. Let's say I was used to workout about 1.5
hours. I admit then I had alot of energy to carry on such long intense
workout sessions. Now I have energy to carry about half an hour a day.
My workout plan is like to run 3 times a week for half an hour. Two
days a week strength training about an hour at the most. I am trying to
keep my diet fat free. My diet is is very need basis cereal in break
fast and cup of skim milk. Two apples after two hours break in between
breakfas, and first apple. Slice of brown bread. tuna fish can and
vegetables. When i get back home after work I eat fat free yougurt with
cereal sprinkles on it. Dinner is back again fish or chicken with
vegetables. Before bed a glass of milk.

Issue I am running into is I am unsure that if I am on right track. I
want to be fit, and I want someone to give me suggestions in order to
get nice abs and waist. I was 54 now I am 33 it will be nice if I can
cut 3 more inches around my waist. Please, fel free to make any
suggestions regarding modifications in diet, or workout will be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Bully

Are you serious? You've lost 14 pounds a month? Not sure if this is a
troll...

There's problem #1. You NEED fat for a number of reason. See
http://www.udoerasmus.com/FAQ.htm#1_1.

There's problem #2. After not eating for 8-10 hours overnight, this ain't
gonna provide a whole lot of energy.

Eat more! Your lack of kcals, particularly first thing in the morning is the
reason for your low energy.

IMO this diet kinda sucks, but then it has worked for you.

This is an great 3 part article on how to go about designing your own

Being fit and having a six-pack are not the same thing.

I'd say eat more protein ~ 1g / lb of bodyweight, so 175g for you.
Get 30% of your kcals from good fats (See bullys post)
Get the rest of your kcals from carbs.
If you are not losing any weight cut the carb intake by 10%.

What is your strength training like?

Hi,
Overeating calories, even from healthy food, is a common mistake many people make without even realizing it. So when you are trying to lose weight, limiting portions and calories, while focusing on getting your calories from healthy foods and cutting out the junk, is a good place to start.
