Hi all,
Been away for a while training hard but back now and I unfortunatly have a
sticking point in my routine.
Ive dislocated my shoulder 3 times and need some exercises to help my do
ball-to-the-wall training while still making sure I dont pull it out again.
Thanks mark
Oh how I love Google Groups and their ability to pull random posts from out of the blue... Hope your shoulder is better Mark. :)

I'm always here Mike as I know you are too.
:)

I just had an e-mail enquiry from Mark asking if I remembered him from
the old days as he was a customer from when we first started GymRatZ so
I did a quick GoogleGroups search to see when he first posted.

As sad as it is I remember most of the URB activities as I've been sat
in the same place in the shop on a Swiss Ball for an office chair since
1999. Also have 7 other usenet groups besides URB that I keep an eye on,
some dead and some still very active.

Not retired yet, though my lifting days are very sporadic... Last real
period of lifting was about 12 months ago.. CCTV evidence to prove it.

Hope you are keeping well Mike.

Must crack on, quotes to do and bills to pay..
Cheers

Hi Pete,

That's interesting that you should say that you use a Swiss ball as an office chair! I was told by my Physio (Paul Sidi) that I have a 'Mince' of a walk! Told me that I had weak core muscles and recommended that I use the 'Zipping up' exercise and sit on a Swiss ball at every given opportunity. Did that for a while then the missus chucked the Swiss ball out the living room saying that it was cluttering up the place as well as scaring the staffy!

Hey Bharat,
The ONLY advice I ever give to shop customers with regards to
strengthening the core is never use a belt and do heavy squats and
deadlifts.

What about a "kneeling stool" ?

No idea what they're like to use though. Might be worth a go.
